My daughter visited this Outlet Mall today with her family.
She came home with some clothes ( not for me) AND a story to share!
The STORY-
They drive the oh…say about 97 miles from our neck of the woods to the Edinburgh Outlet Mall. It is a nice day, a nice day for a drive.

My son in law goes into one of the stores and my daughter stays in the van so that she can feed the newest member of the family, Dominic, who is about 2 months old! So there she sits feeding the baby, she finishes, or he does and she decides to get herself and the baby ready for when daddy comes back to get them. Nice girl huh?
Well, she gets the stroller out and gets the baby in and settled when the son in law arrives to whisk them away on their shopping adventure. She locks up the van, because her dad and I have always taught her that you have to be safe and lock the vehicles when you leave them. She does, good girl, always listening to your mum and dad!
They go on their merry way when…something that eludes my memory happens to cause them to have to go back to the van at which point he says ” where are the keys” and she says ” where are the keys” at which point I am sure they both say simultaneously…” YOU had them!” “NO, YOU had them” yes, that was both of them again! This is my story. It is the way I remember it being told to me.
All joking aside, they are both kinda bent out of shape towards the other. She leaves and heads to the Motherhood Maternity store
so that she can, YES, feed the baby again.
She says he was hungry, but didn’t she say she just fed him? But, I digress……She walks in and asks the clerk if she can use one of the dressing rooms to feed the baby. The girl feels badly but the rooms are all full at this time. She says that she has a back room that my daughter can use to feed the baby. They make her comfortable and she feeds him.
When she finishes and exits the room there is her hubby waiting for her. Apparently they have a few words, still upset with each other a bit, the girl asks if there is anything she can do for them. My daughter explains what has happened and the girl calls security to come help.
The daughter waits outside for security, who never show up, maybe we should discuss them next? Anyway, my daughter goes in to thank the girl and tell her security didn’t show and maybe she could get the number to the police? The girl tells her that she will make the calls for her. My daughter thanks her and goes to leave at which point the clerk stops her and asks her if the kids are hungry or thirsty?
These girls, apparently there were 2 of them, felt bad for this young family and wanted to help them. They gave the kids food and water and showed extreme kindness. They
probably have no idea the impact that they had on this family. They went above and beyond and made this family feel very good, when they could have been feeling bad. That is excellent customer service!!
Thank you for taking care of my family! You guys are the best!If you have an opportunity to go to this Motherhood, tell them you read this story and how awesome they were to help out a young family in need.
By the way, my daughter wants me to say….If you are a breastfeeding mother and are out shopping and in need of some privacy to feed the baby, stop in at any Motherhood! They are great and will let you use a room to have some privacy.Thank you Motherhood Maternity!! Specifically the Edinburgh Premium Outlet location.OH and the car??? I guess they got it opened…they got home!
